Biodiversity, Energy & environment, Forest Conservation and Climate Change Adaptation Activities
E&E Nepal collaborates with the community to safeguard the forest and maintain a livable environment. The organization has recently erected a biogas plant, a hybrid solar dryer, distributed solar pump for drinking water, and a home solar light. The majority of the wood used to cook food in Nepal's rural communities has an impact on the environment, the pollution of the air, and public health. The installation of biogas has directly improved people's health as well as the environment by enabling hybrid solar pumps and home solar pumps.
Additionally, the project has supported the revision of the community's work plan for forest conservation and the development of a mechanism to monitor cases of wildfire and human-caused fire, which annually occur unchecked and decimate the forest. The project has also restored the tiny pond and borehole, which may be use to put out wildfires and ultimately hopes to save wild lives due to the direct influence on the species. The following are some illustrations of environmental actions.
